The above situation is not a special case. The reporter recently visited a number of new energy vehicle 4S stores in Beijing and found that neither consumers nor cars are common.

As the largest new energy automobile market in China, Beijing's electric vehicle consumption has always been popular. Why is it approaching the end of the year? The reporter learned in the investigation that this has a lot to do with the policy changes that new energy vehicles are about to face.

With the subsidies for new energy vehicles gradually declining, dealers are not clear about the future market expectations, and do not dare to enter the car easily. In addition, Beijing's new energy license indicators are in short supply, and to a certain extent, the consumption of local new energy vehicles is not prosperous.

Clear inventory suspension of car sales 4S shop cautious replenishment

On December 12th, the reporter saw a Geely new energy vehicle 4S shop located on the South Fourth Ring Road in Beijing. The store's exhibition hall was filled with various decoration materials, and no exhibition cars were on sale.

"The store is undergoing renovation and upgrading. It has been carried out for two weeks. After the upgrade, the new models of the Emgrand EV will be mainly sold. The inventory of the old models has been cleaned up," a salesperson at the store told reporters.

Choosing a sales season upgrade, it means that the 4S store does not regard the end of the year as a good time to sell new energy vehicles. During the visit, the reporter found that many new energy vehicle 4S stores in Beijing hold the same view.

The reporter saw in the Xinfadi auto trading market in Beijing that the 4S stores of new energy vehicles such as Zhongtai, Changan and Chery were very deserted. There were few consumers in the store, and there were only a handful of exhibitors. Some stores could not even shop. Full exhibition hall.

"There are very few people who come to see the car now, and they don't want to buy a car." A salesman at a 4S store in Chang'an New Energy Automobile told reporters that how to adjust the new energy policy next year is not clear. Now look at the subsidy. The retreat is very strong, at least 20%, and next year it is likely to start collecting taxes on new energy vehicles. Therefore, in the case of unclear policies, 4S shops would rather empty their inventory and suspend their car sales, and they would not risk taking it.

It is understood that next year, how the new energy vehicle subsidy policy will change will not be clear. According to previous reports, the subsidies will be linked to the mileage of new energy vehicles. The subsidies for new energy vehicles with high battery life will even increase, and the subsidies with low battery life will drop significantly.

The sales staff of the above-mentioned Changan New Energy 4S store said that at present, for example, the Changan Benben EV with its main sales mileage of 180 kilometers, the subsidy can be reduced to 50%.

It is understood that Benben EV currently enjoys a state subsidy of 36,000 yuan, a local subsidy of 18,000 yuan, and a total subsidy of 54,000 yuan. If subsidies fall by 50% next year, it means that consumers will spend an additional 27,000 yuan on the same model. Therefore, after the store has cleared the inventory, it will no longer purchase Changan Benben EV, and will introduce other new models with a cruising range of 256 kilometers.

New energy licenses are tight, "receiving the standard" and "extension" are prevailing

Since there are expectations that subsidies will fall back, consumers are rushing to buy cars, but when the reporters visited the market, they found that it was difficult for consumers to see the new energy vehicles in 4S stores. Some consumers told reporters that this has a lot to do with the growing shortage of new energy vehicle licenses in Beijing.

“Beijing allocates new energy license indicators in batches every year. The effective period of the indicators is half a year. By the end of the year, most of the indicators have been consumed. Even if consumers want to buy, no indicators can only be “looking at the car.” The sales staff of the energy 4S store told reporters.

According to information released by the Beijing Small Bus Indicators Regulation Management Office, as of December 8, more than 120,000 people have waited for new energy targets. According to the current queuing rules, Beijing's new energy indicators for 2018 have been overdrawn in advance, and some applicants will have to wait until 2019 to get the indicators.

In this context, a gray business - "receipt" and "extension" quietly launched in the new energy vehicle market.

The reporter saw in the Xinfadi auto trading market that many new energy 4S shops have the words “received” or “extended” in front of them. The so-called "receipt" refers to the purchase of vehicles through the lease of new energy license indicators, while the "extension" refers to consumers who have indicators on their hands and no plans to purchase cars. The 4S shop uses vehicle transfer to achieve the purpose of deferring the indicators. According to the relevant regulations, after the vehicle is transferred out, the consumer can apply for the index update through the Beijing Small Bus Control Management Information System, and the update period is valid for half a year.

"Because everyone expects subsidies to fall back next year, there are many people who rent new energy license indicators. At present, there are no indicators for renting in the store." A salesperson of a Chery New Energy 4S store told reporters that the new energy license indicators are generally Rented by year, the price is 2000~9000 yuan/year.

It is worth noting that there is a legal risk in this form of leasing.
