——Investigation on emergency light market in some first-tier cities in China
According to the survey of 19 first-tier cities in the country, in the 19 cities, there are 1,095 merchants operating fire emergency lights, including 91 stores, accounting for 8.31%; 381 stores, accounting for 381 households. 34.79%; 623 households, accounting for 56.9%. Statistics show that because the fire emergency light products are special, the categories are not rich, many brands operate in the form of integrated stores, and a large number of fire emergency light integrated stores are distributed in various cities. Among the brands that operate in the store mode, the Minhua brand has performed well, both in terms of quantity and scale, and is worthy of the title of “single product champion†in the field of fire emergency lights (see Table 1 and Table 2).

Minhua advantage can no longer be
In the North China region, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games economy directly led to the development of construction real estate in various cities, and also brought huge business opportunities to fire emergency lights. The sales of fire emergency light dealers in the region have increased to varying degrees.
Zhou Deke, general manager of Beijing Xinglong Urumqi Lighting Business Department, said that the fire emergency light market in Beijing is very broad. Due to the strict inspection of emergency lights by the Beijing fire department, some fake and inferior brands cannot operate here, so there are not many brands of fire emergency lights in Beijing. Okot, Minhua (including Pines), Huayi, Ji Zhao Such brand management is better. Among them, only Minhua and its brands have opened five specialty stores, and the advantages are unparalleled.
Guo Yanping, head of Tianjin Xinjia Emergency Light, said that in 2007, the sales volume of new good emergency lights increased by 10%. Xinjia emergency lights are sold in five stores in Tianjin Home Depot, both in terms of brand awareness and product quality, regardless of distribution channels. In the field of engineering, it has won the favor of consumers.
South China region
Fire department affects sales
Fire emergency lights are a necessity for many buildings. Although the overall sales volume is not high, it is still developing well in southern China.
Nanning merchants believe that fire emergency lights are a special category of lighting products. One of the main problems is fire certification. Many places have regulations on fire emergency lights. A certain brand must pass the local fire department to enter the local market. Another aspect is the local preference of the fire supervision department for a certain brand of products, which is an important factor affecting the sales of fire emergency lights.
Xiamen merchants believe that the sales of fire emergency lights are small, but the profits are relatively high. In the case of meeting the requirements of the local fire department, the sales prospects of fire emergency lights are considerable.
Brands in East China have a place
East China is a battleground for the fire emergency light brands. In addition to some well-known national brands in this area, the local brands have not shown weakness, occupying their place in their own way.
In Jinan, Minhua, Zhenhui, Xinjia, Hongwei and other brands have been recognized by the business, and sales have increased. For the merchants, the main problem that plagues them is that the price war of the fire emergency lights is too fierce, but the manufacturers are not willing to invest in the promotion of the brand.
In Nanjing, brand emergency light agents said sales growth averaged around 15%.
In Ningbo, Chen Boping, manager of the lighting management department of Nanpu, believes that fire emergency lights are a hard indicator for routine inspections. Some large-scale projects such as entertainment venues, convention centers, hotels, etc. require emergency lights to be installed, and the market capacity is always growing. The sales of Minhua emergency lights increased by 10%.
In Suzhou, Jiajia Lighting Manager Zhao Baogang said that due to the impact of Suzhou municipal road construction and fierce competition among business operators, the sales of fire emergency lights in 2007 decreased by about 10% compared with the same period in 2006.
Changzhou Changde Lighting Co., Ltd. represented Qihui Fire Emergency Light. General Manager Xu Changde said that sales in 2007 increased by 10%, mainly due to breakthroughs in engineering sales. Mr. Xu worried that there were too many low-level emergency lights flowing in the market, and basically did not reach the national standard, which was not conducive to the healthy development of emergency lights.
