TCL Multimedia announced that in December 2011, the sales volume of LED-backlit LCD TVs increased to 942,106 units, accounting for 60.6% of the total sales of LCD TVs. The sales volume of LED-backlit LCD TVs reached 4.865 million units.
According to TCL, the sales volume of LCD TVs in December 2011 was 1.5556 million units, up 57.1% from the same period of last year. It was the highest monthly sales volume in September 2011. The annual sales volume of LCD TVs was 10.86 million units. The target of 10.2 million units per year.
