Texas Instruments (TI) today announced a family of four digital input closed-loop I2S amplifiers for mid-range power stereo audio such as TVs, sound bars, portable docking stations, Bluetooth® speakers and audio products for the automotive aftermarket Application requirements. The TAS5760xx devices offer high switching frequency, helping designers reduce overall solution size and bill of materials (BOM) costs by using smaller output filter components. The TAS5760xx is available in four pin-compatible 48-pin versions, with the TAS5760MD and TAS5760LD providing headphone amplifier/line drivers, while the TAS5760M and TAS5760L are non-headphone versions. For customers who require smaller sizes, the TAS5760M and TAS5760L are also available in a 9 mm x 6 mm, 32-pin package.

The TAS5760xxEVM can be ordered immediately. The evaluation board includes an easy-to-use ControlConsole graphics development kit that simplifies the evaluation, configuration, and debugging of audio products. The ControlConsole graphical user interface (GUI) helps enable rapid evaluation of all TAS5760xx stereo amplifier functions, reducing product development time. In addition, the IBIS model can be used to verify board signal integrity requirements.
