1. There are no cracks in the porcelain sleeve and flange parts or traces of burning in the store.

3. The lead and ground connection should be firm, whether there is burn marks, whether the contact is good, and whether there is rust or not.

4. The foundation of the arrester has cracks and sinking, etc. Whether the joint connection of the combined arrester is firm, whether there is inclination, whether the cement joint is cracked or not, and whether the paint is good.

5. If the arrester is low-profile, there should be no weeds in the fence.

6. When the counter of the arrester is removed, the lower part of the arrester should be grounded directly with a conductor with a cross-section of not less than 25 mm2.

7. Gale weather should focus on checking the lightning swing of the arrester.

8. Disconnect the arrester from the power supply when the following conditions occur (but the disconnector cannot be disconnected in the event of a lightning arrester failure).

1) Arrester insulator, casing rupture or explosion.

2) After the lightning strike, the connecting leads are severely burned or blown.

3) There is a discharge or abnormal sound inside the arrester in operation.

9. The metal base, outer casing and operating mechanism of the electrical equipment of transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical equipment in the power distribution cabinet must be grounded. During normal operation, the lightning arrester and the grounding grid device should be checked for good rust-free connection. In particular, the part buried in the ground should be inspected regularly, whether the connection is reliable, whether the section meets the specified requirements and the rust-off condition.
