CISSOID , the leader in high-temperature semiconductor solutions, introduced Reia , a 2.5kV galvanically isolated data transmission solution that operates reliably from -55 ° C to +225 ° C. CHT- Ria is a single-chip dual-channel, full-duplex transceiver (2 transmit and 2 receive channels). An external micropulse transformer ensures each magnetic isolation without a core diameter of more than 6 mm (0.24").

For the entire 4-channel data transmission, a Ruiya is required next to each pulse transformer. CISSOID has demonstrated the overall functionality at the board level, including transformers over the full temperature range. The demo board based on the CISSOID component achieves a data rate of 2 MBits/sec with transmission delays and jitters below 100 ns and 25 ns, respectively.

The circuit structure, modulation scheme and transformer design have been optimized to provide extreme dV / dt immunity (up to 50kV/μs).

This solution provides advanced digital signal isolation and has great advantages compared to optocouplers, such as high reliability, low power consumption, strong dV/dt immunity and operation under extreme temperature conditions.

CHT-Ryder is a versatile component that is useful at extreme temperatures where it is necessary to transmit current to isolate digital signals in two different common-mode voltage domains. At regular temperatures, Rhea will ensure excellent reliability and longevity.

Applications include insulated gate IGBT drives, JFET and MOSFET power transistors, including silicon carbide (SiC) switches, industrial buses, insulated AD converters and sensor interfaces, motor drives and batteries in industrial, aerospace, railway, electric and hybrid vehicles management.
