LEDs face pressure in the second quarter, blue LED prices have not changed much

At present, there is still a big gap in orders and production capacity. In addition, recently released Samsung revised the second quarter LED TV shipment target, Li Bingjie pointed out that the second quarter of the crystal power is still facing a lot of delivery pressure, there is no feeling of shipment downgrade.

Li Bingjie pointed out that the customer's demand forecast for 2010 has reached the end of the year, but the actual order is not placed. The customer will confirm the status of each quarter on a monthly basis. At this stage, the customer order is still much larger than the production capacity. Basically, the LED supply exceeds demand this year. The chances are small. At the same time, Li Bingjie also reiterated that LED TV will be the main driving force of the LED industry in the past three years, and the growth momentum after three years will come from lighting.

As for Samsung's revised second-quarter LED TV shipment target, Li Bingjie said that the delivery pressure of Jingdian in the second quarter is still large, and did not feel the market demand has changed.

In addition, at the beginning of this year, the market has been reported that Samsung has been cut by Samsung, resulting in a total weak LED community. According to the understanding, Samsung LED has different specifications and has been quickly introduced and adopted by Samsung, the parent company. The newer specifications of the goods manufacturers have led to a decline in the revenue of some of the LED factories that have not kept up with the new specifications. At present, the new specifications of the industry are ready, and the company is still optimistic about the operating performance in the second quarter.

Li Bingjie pointed out that the utilization rate of blue LED capacity is full, and the utilization rate of quaternary red light is only 70%, mainly because the main customers of Hongguang are Japan, accounting for 30%, and from January to March is Japanese accounting. In the fourth quarter of the year, the manufacturer's quarter-end inventory and adjustment of the inventory level, the demand momentum is weak, it is expected that the second season, the red LED demand is expected to return.

In the fourth quarter of last year, Jingdian performed better than expected. The single-quarter earnings per share (EPS) reached 1.35 yuan (NTD, the same below), and the gross profit margin surged to 33%. The legal person pointed out that the current supply and demand of blue LEDs is tight. The price in the first quarter has not declined. The price in the second quarter has not been loose. The gross profit margin has the opportunity to maintain a relatively high-end. Optimistic about the first half of the company's EPS, the opportunity to challenge 2.3 yuan to 2.6 yuan. Jingdian said that it is inconvenient to comment on the industry.
