OKI announced on the 14th that the printing company of the OKI Group is rushing to strengthen the LED (light-emitting diode) production and LED application business of the page printer head, and the LED business of the Group. Its production capacity is four times that of the original, and it officially started production in April 2010. At present, the printer business of the information processing business is carried out on a global scale, centering on a page printer that uses the advantages of small size, high speed, and high precision of the LED print head. The LED print head adopts the "epifilmbonding (hereinafter referred to as EFB) technology" independently developed by ODI and realizes the world's first application in the actual batch level production. EFB technology is a combination of different types of materials that are thinned, relying on the molecular forces between materials, and is expected to be widely used in other commercial fields other than page printer heads.
It is reported that the new production base has a dust-free operation area with twice the area and high dust-free operation compared with the original factory. It is expected that the production capacity of the LED print head can be increased by four times. With the expansion of the production scale of LED print heads, Chong Information plans to double the sales of page printers by 2012. The new base has a space for sustainable investment development, and can fully contribute to the wide application of EFB technology in more commercial fields, such as accelerating the development of ultra-small LED displays, and opening up the market for commercial fields to be grown in the future.
