In Beijing, China, Siemens and the National Grid Energy Research Institute of China signed a smart grid cooperation research memorandum in Beijing on July 6. Siemens will work together with the State Grid Energy Research Institute to jointly research the advanced technology direction, emerging business models and possible technological solutions and their technical standardization directions in the new generation grid “smart grid†field.
