Taiwan's production and research circles set common standards for lighting system industry

To assist Taiwan's lighting industry in the development of high-value intelligent lighting systems, the ITRI and the ITC, with the support of the Technical Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, drafted the “Intelligent Lighting System Standards” draft, combined with Taiwan’s Electrical and Electronics Industry Association, Taiwan District The Lighting Industry Association, Taiwan Opto Semiconductor Industry Association, Hua Ju Foundation, LED Street Lighting Industry Alliance, Taiwan Lighting Committee and other six public associations and alliance formally formed the “Taiwan LED and Lighting Standard Reconciliation Conference” to become China's first LED and Industrial standards in the field of lighting. It is hoped that the establishment of intelligent lighting system standards will promote the integration of industry chains and expand market opportunities, and promote Taiwan's lighting industry towards high value and standardization.

According to the technical department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, for the LED industry, the development of lighting system standards will help accelerate the standardization of China's intelligent lighting systems, assist the industry in establishing a common and consistent lighting networking standard, and develop products and systems that comply with the standards and regulations, thereby contributing to the industry. The development and formation of an industrial cluster effect will drive the lighting industry in Taiwan towards higher value and standardization, so as to win the rapid growth of global lighting business opportunities and enhance international competitiveness.

The "Intelligent Lighting System Standard" adopted by the "Taiwan LED and Lighting Standard Reconciliation Conference" jointly organized by the ITRI and the Council and the Six Public Associations covers the intelligent lighting system functions, wide-area network interfaces, regional network interfaces, and regional network design. And five major areas of lighting equipment, can effectively promote the industry including lighting, system management platform, lighting network, sensing technology and intelligent analysis of the integration of the middle and lower reaches. Now it is also applying for the CNS national standard. In the future, it will participate in the international lighting organization standard discussion through CIE-Taiwan, and push this standard to international standards, so as to enhance our country's influence on international lighting standards.
