Today, the "New York Times" said that Apple is considering the acquisition of self-balancing electric motorcycle company Lit Motors.
It is reported that both parties are in the negotiation stage, and at the same time, Apple has already hired several former Lit Motors employees.
The Lit Motors launch product Lit Motors C1 is a motorcycle with a patented control system. There are two gyroscopes under the driver's seat. When the gyroscope is turned on, it maintains a speed of 5000-12,000 revolutions per minute. When the external force or turning occurs, the automatic control system will control the gyroscope to change the tilt angle according to the situation to adjust the balance of the vehicle. The Lit Motors C1 uses Tesla's battery and has a top speed of 100 mph and is fully charged for 200 miles.
Currently Apple and Lit Motors have not responded to this rumor. But here's the question. What does Apple want to buy from Lit Motors?
Self-balancing motorcycle companies seem to have a low degree of match with Apple's auto plans both technically and in terms of products. Outsiders claim that since Apple had hired a number of Lit Motors employees, this acquisition is likely to be mainly directed at talents. Going to make up for its lack of talent in automotive hardware.
