Application of I-bus intelligent lighting bus system

1 Overview

The new campus library of Shaanxi Normal University is a modern library built in the Chang'an New Campus of Shaanxi Normal University. The library has an academic lecture hall and several multifunctional small meeting rooms and book reading rooms. The total construction area is 44000m2. . This project adopts ABB's I-bus system conforming to the EIB international bus standard to intelligently control the academic lecture hall, conference room, book reading room, library and public lighting in the library to achieve functional diversity. Convenience, economy, flexibility, safety, compatibility and other requirements that are difficult to achieve with traditional installation systems. Convenience, energy saving, safety and humanized control are the purposes of the I-bus system applied to the new campus library of Shaanxi Normal University.

The New Campus Library of Shaanxi Normal University is a large public building in the Chang'an New Campus of Shaanxi Normal University. The functional space of the building is large, and the requirements of the comparison are complicated. It is often necessary to change the lighting system according to the requirements of the specific exhibits. At the same time, it is necessary to automatically control the number of electric curtains and the start and stop control of the new wind turbines. There is a long time difference between the main design, structure and equipment design and decoration design of the project. Therefore, in the previous design process, the selected lighting system must have sufficient flexibility. If the traditional building word automatic control system is adopted, a large number of secondary control loops need to be set up. When the system function is changed, the secondary circuit needs to be adjusted, which makes the design, installation and maintenance of the control box difficult, and at the same time, due to the increase Many relays and other components cause high engineering cost. At the same time, because the traditional building automation system can only turn on the lighting fixtures at a fixed time, it can be fully opened and closed, and can not be truly humanized to open according to demand, energy waste is relatively large. The EIB intelligent installation system can better meet the requirements of the lighting control system of the project, and can be installed in the terminal lighting control box. Moreover, the bus topology supported by the EIB system is rich, the system capacity is large, and it is easy to expand and change. The functional modules are installed by standard rails, which are small in size, rich in functions, powerful in developers, open in bus protocol, and can be integrated with the building automation system. There are associations and organizations, and there are more manufacturers and owners who have more choices in product selection. The system has better cost performance. The EIB intelligent installation system is adopted, and sufficient standard mounting rails are reserved in the terminal box to facilitate expansion when the requirements are changed in the future; the lighting terminal boxes of the external public parts are installed in the functional rooms of each area, which is beneficial to debugging and maintenance, and reduces The system maintains interference to the readers, avoids the inconvenience caused by the reader's misoperation due to the installation of the lighting control equipment in the public part, and avoids the influence of numerous lighting control equipments on the decoration project; in the internal office area, a small amount is set according to the use needs. The scene control switch, the software control interface is based on the Windows system, using an intuitive graphical interface to provide centralized control of the entire system, the system in the building's control center can cooperate with the security system to control the linkage of the relevant regional lighting system.

2 I-bus system introduction

With the rapid development of science and technology, the functions of modern buildings are becoming more and more complex, and the quality is constantly improving. Higher requirements are placed on the functions of electrical installation systems. With traditional control and wiring methods, it is often necessary to lay a large number of wires to form more and more The complicated electrical installation system causes difficulty in design and construction on the one hand, and greatly reduces the reliability and ease of use of the system on the other hand, which brings inconvenience to the maintenance work in the future. Therefore, with the popularization of intelligent buildings, various bus control systems have emerged to promote the traditional electrical installation system to a smart and flexible way. EIB intelligent installation system uses a twisted pair as the control bus as the European installation bus standard. The EIB system makes the lighting, dimming, blinds, scene control, power load control, security, heating system intelligent and become a complete The bus system can automatically adjust the state of the devices in the bus according to changes in the external environment, achieving safety, energy saving, and humanized effects, and can increase or modify the functions of the system according to the requirements of the user in future use, by connecting the computer to the computer. Programming, without the need to re-lay cables, truly becomes a flexible electrical installation system that is not possible with traditional cabling methods.

The EIB system has been successfully used in various occasions such as factories, convention centers, hotels, office buildings, large supermarkets, airports, hospitals, villas, etc. ABB's EIB system is both a user-oriented, personalized system and a manager-oriented system. Users can modify the system's functions according to their personal preferences to achieve their desired effects, and can operate sensors (such as Button switches, etc.) to control the operation of the system; on the other hand, ABB's EIB system also provides the WINSWITCH software platform, and managers (such as residential property centers, building management centers, garage management offices, etc.) connect the computers that install the software to The EIB system can control and manage the EIB system to achieve centralized management.

The EIB system is called the Europeanlnstallation Bus in Europe, which is the European installation bus. In Asia, it refers to the Electrical lnstallation Bus, which is the electrical installation bus. These three letters have a special place in the field of electrical wiring, and even in the entire economic field. On May 8, 1990, the European lnstallation Bus Association, the EIBA, the European Installation Bus Association, was founded by more than 110 electrical manufacturers. These manufacturers account for about 80% of the entire electrical installation and wiring market, and ABB has been a leader in this market.

Since the EIB first appeared in the Hannover Fair in Germany in 1992, a revolutionary electrical installation revolution has quietly begun. According to statistics, in Germany's commercial functional buildings and large supermarkets, about 30% of buildings have installed EIB systems to varying degrees, and in the planned building words, this proportion has reached 60%. ABBI-busEIB has achieved great success both in the construction of the new building and in the renovation of the old building or the old city. Therefore, the ABBI-busEIB system will become a trend in future electrical installation systems.
