Cypress Semiconductor Corporation has announced that Huawei has adopted Cypress's TrueTouch® touchscreen controller in its four smartphones. Two of them use TrueTouch Gen4 controller to achieve precise navigation when wearing thick gloves, so users do not have to take off their gloves in cold weather to operate. Gen4 can also achieve the industry's best touch screen performance in an electronic noise environment that has plagued the industry caused by chargers and displays and caused the touch screen to not work properly. Huawei Ascend G700, A199 and Ascend G610 smartphones all use Gen4 controllers, while Ascend G526 uses Gen3 controllers.
